Vineyards, wine and pisco tasting, and sunset at Huacachina
Pickup at your hotel: around 1:00 p.m., the Flamenco Travel team will pick you up at the door of your hotel in the city of Ica. We'll drive by tourist transportation through Ica's countryside, known for its wide vineyards.
Pisco Route: vineyard and winery: our first stop is a traditional craft vineyard and winery. There you'll learn how wine and pisco, Peru's national spirit, are made. The visit ends with a tasting of local wines and piscos.
Free time for lunch: next you'll have free time to have lunch at a restaurant serving local Ica dishes. Lunch is not included.
Huacachina oasis: then we'll head to the Huacachina oasis, about 5 km from the city of Ica. This lagoon was formed by underground water, which gave rise to lush plant life in the middle of the desert. It's one of the most visited landscapes in Peru. We'll walk on the dunes to get the best photos, and you'll have free time to explore. If you like, you can book a dune buggy ride and sandboarding separately.
Sunset and return: we'll end the day with the sunset over the Huacachina dunes, one of the most famous in the country. Then we'll return by tourist transportation to your hotel in Ica, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
